Heathrow IRC Open Day

We are seeking Band 5 Primary Care Nurses to work in our Immigration Removal Centre Heathrow. You will join a team who not only look after the healthcare needs of the centre residents, but who also have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and wellbeing.

Come and join us on Saturday 9 September 2017 from 10.00am – 4.00pm at the Baylis House Hotel Conference Centre Poges Lane, Slough, SL1 3PB to gain valuable insight into the day-to-day running of the IRC from our current staff members, and hear about the opportunities we can offer you.

Heathrow IRC is a short-term holding facility for male and female detainees, located close to London Heathrow Airport. It has been built to category B prison standards and is the most secure removal centre within the UK Border Agency estate. The IRC has six individual, hospital-style rooms and provides access to GP services, nursing care and proactive nurse clinics, a dentist, an optician, chiropody services, psychiatric services and a substance misuse programme.

Fast track to employment
