CNWL host international programme for China healthcare professionals

Last week Friday (9 June 2017) a group of doctors and nurses from China began an eight week programme with CNWL professionals to take part in one-day classroom based sessions on learning, discussing and exchanging experiences on Integrated Care, Dementia, Addictions, Children Services, Diabetes and Primary Care.
Dr. Pramod Prabhakaran started the programme by welcoming the 40 doctors and nurses from China and by presenting to them Integrated Care with interactive discussions of the differences between China and UK healthcare system.
The programme has been facilitated in partnership with Sinolink Healthcare. Ming Ming, Director at Sinolink said: “It is very important that our visiting nurses and doctors experience and learn more about Community Services and Primary Care. It will serve them to better understand the NHS and how the healthcare system works in UK, we at Sinolink are very happy to work with CNWL and hope in future cooperation.”
CNWL staff and services offered their support to the programme and for other similar international programmes including: Dr. Nicole Ng (Registrars Hillingdon), Ronald Bevan and Debra Davies (RISE), Mark Easter (Adults Safeguarding), Dominik Havesteen-Franklin (ICAPT), Darren Turze (Mosaic), Zoe Sargent (Children’s Services), Amber Webb (Specialist Nurse Diabetes) and Dr. Matthew Johnson (Central London Healthcare CIC).
